Green Dolphin, V&A Waterfront: Mark Fransman trio
The “Open Mic” voice search competition is held at “Jackson Hall” – Grand West Casino every Wednesday night for 12 weeks.This is the second year and every week 3 of the contestants go through to the finals.It is open to all except professionals. There is a Grand Prize of R30,000.00 to be won this year.
Lucrecia Rodrigues and Keith Macfarlane play at Delish in Hout Bay, for the October Chef Challenge: R180per person for a six-course meal.

John Russel is at Cru Cafe’ Cape Quarter extension from 6 to 9pm

Friday 22nd October
From 5 to 7.30pm, TAPAS AND JAZZ at Bistro 1682, Steenberg Estate, with Mike Laatz and Eddie Kirkwood.
From 4pm, Virtual Jazz Reality (VJR) play at the Pepper Club, Pepper street. R60 includes oysters and a glass of bubbly.

Sebastian Ensemble are at Constantia Nek from 8 to 11.30

Saturday 23rd October
From 1.00pm, the Evergreen Band with Erika Lundi will be at SASNEV (formerly Huis der Nederlanden) 4 Central Square Pinelands. At 2.30pm, Les Javan will take over, followed by amale choir called "The Red Dazzlers" At 4pm, the Mike del Ferro trio will finish the programme.
